Desert Ironwood (American Ironwood) has a rich and gorgeous grain flowing from dark brown sapwood, to lighter coffee-toned heartwood. Long sought after for it’s incredible strength, and durability, Ironwood has a unique and distinct character.The timber is paired with matte black Tungsten Carbide in this design.All timber is sealed in a vacuum with acrylic resin, to make the most durable, and water resistant rings possible. They are all finished in marine grade epoxy for utmost strength and durability.Tungsten Carbide is made via a lost wax casting process in an industrial mold. It has no seams, and is ranked upwards of 9 on Moh’s hardness scale. It’s literally used (and how we use it) to cut titanium. It’s incredibly hard and durable.
