The M1 Garand

The M1 Garand replaced the M1903 Springfield as the standard service rifle in the Mid-1930s. This design was used as the standard service rifle both in WW2 and the Korean War.This stock has seen active duty, and has been broken beyond repair. I decided to stabilized the timber in a vacuum and use in paired with sandblasted Titanium in this design. All titanium rings with inlays are sealed with Titanium Aircraft Adhesive, and each ring is sealed in lustrous water resistant finish. Finally the rings are polished with beeswax. We use jewelers grade 5 6AL-4V titanium in every ring.
